Ashley Valenzuela is a Mexican-American cinematographer from San Jose, CA. She strives to shed light on the untold stories of underrepresented groups, while also advocating for women empowerment and Latine representation in front of and behind the camera. The focus of her work centers on creating a deeper emotional connection to the characters on screen.

She specializes in narrative and dramatic stories and is looking to expand her experiences in commercial work.

Her work has been featured in Director’s Library as well as film festivals such as Bay Made and Crested Butte Film Festival.
